What have you done on your bike today?

That is interesting we met 2 English blokes in Spain and I thought i picked them up wrong about the ferry we do rosslare to bilbao in 28 hours so only one night I would have presumed it to be much quicker from England .. thanks Rob
I bumped into an English couple when i was in Alcaniz Spain, they had ridden down in the pissing rain from Santander. I was staying at Zaragoza, i'd got a coach down to Alcaniz for the WSBK at Aragon, another long fucked up story!!

Plymouth to Bilbao is thirteen hours shorter than Portsmouth to Bilbao.

If you book your ferry through Brittany Hotels and book your fist nights stop after your disembark, you get a substantial discount on your ferry booking, more than the cost of the room.
We considered this before ending up in Germany - will check out Brittany Hotels when we go thanks...

We all had to meet up at a convenient location, Plymouth is a bit out of the way for almost everyone.

The guy that booked it is registered as a travel agent, so got a decent discount, I believe. (y)

That is mad when you look at where both UK ports are ?

Today i went to the garage to plug that fucking hole on my rear tyre. I pulled out the old cord then with help with a bit of youtube on how to use my new Grand Pitstop puncture repair. The instructions that come with it are fucking useless unless you have the eyes of a small child, it's so small it's a waste of time!! Something over the years i've noticed on loads of products is the writing is so small.
Anyway it's the mushroom type plug that covers the hole on the inside, so got that done and pumped the tyre up and all good. Can't be bothered to go out i'm not in the mood, so i tracked where the wiring plugs are for the gear indicator as mine only works in 4th gear. It was something suggested on a forum as it's a common thing on the XL range.
So got that done and it was caked in road crap as it's right at the front of the engine with these silly rubber covers on them. So cleaned all that up but not tested yet will do it tomorrow.🤷‍♂️

Does your phone have a magnifier app on it?
This iPhone does and it comes in very handy for reading those tiny instructions

Out early yesterday morning and the temperature was below 10c/50f for a ride for the first time in ages so slightly warmer clothes needed but not cold enough yet for Gaylord heated grips or gloves.
I rode here Ashridge House | Historic Wedding & Event Venue in Hertfordshire
A quite stunning old pile with a very nice cafe on site with a few interesting options as well as the usual fayre. I went for something Japanese ish, very good too.
I`m sorry to report the clientele while I was there was hideously white and one lady came in with not 1 but 2!!!! black labradors. Obviously a meeting place for the Far Right under cover of being members of the Royal Horticultural Society. Cunning.
There were a couple of other bikes there including 1 bloke just leaving on his Aprillia Tourag. These are slightly less revolting to look at in the flesh than in pictures but I didn`t feel I could say much as I was on my 1200 Multi which isn`t exactly a page 3 stunna.

I have to say, I like the Aprilia Tuareg Rally. It was on my list to buy before I went for the Husqvarna Norden Expedition. The looks weren't the issue, the small 660cc engine and reliability reputation however, were.

I know we all have different tastes which is probably just as well but when I look at that it strikes me as a series of origami shapes stuck together. I have however owned both of these in yellow and think they are stunning but apparently some disagree , wtf.

Very nice, and I trust they look after you, being a Duke and all your grace?

My great Aunt worked there as a lecturer when it was a college.
