Saw those racing at Thruxton in 1994, i was a marshal on the so called straight in the middle going into the chicane before the start finish line!! Unreal beasts that where great to hear and see back in the day!!How sweet do those Nortons sound!!
A couple of Years back at the nec in Birmingham they started one of the JPS Norton rotary bikes sweet baby jebus they screamedHow sweet do those Nortons sound!!
Was the mitsubishi zero not even bettererThe 190 was a better plane the the Spifire!! The same as the BF109 and the ME109!!
The Zero was a great plane but it was to fragile, it had no armour to gunfire, it might aswell just been made of tissue paper!! Great plane and very agile but an easy target. The tank of the sky was the Junkers Ju 87 or Stuka, a slow plane and another easy target but one hell of a solid plane, sadly there are no flying Stuka's in the world. Was the mitsubishi zero not even betterer![]()
