I could put up with the GS the adventure is a fucking pig.. True story a mate of mine has a V4s but went on a edelweiss tour in October.. He's sick to admit it but Reckons the ugly gs 1300 is a far better all around bike..To be fair to the 1300 gs, the TE model looks reasonably normalish

I gave up about 30 seconds in at the "if you're into road positioning and riding everywhere in 6th gear this probably isn't the video for you" etc.
If he thinks road positioning is just something for old farts who ride very slowly, he doesn't know how to ride a motorcycle. Which I suspect is very much the case.
Aye lad, road craft, and nearly 50 years of riding on the road, correct road position and the correct gear engaged become second nature.
Almost certainly more than he'll ever need. I don't bother much with Youtube vloggers anymore. About the only one I'll watch is Lamb Chop. At least he can ride and he's a grown-up.Apparently "it has got far more power than you'll ever need "
What I found funny is that even mcn think the adventure is a minga and that's why they chose the standard model as a long termer.
