The Vincent Grey Flash was good for 115mph, they are rare and very pricey for a real one, it's like the Ducati chancers and you can get bitten if you don't know what your looking at!!Sounds like my push bike from the 70's with plastic playing cards in the spokes for engine noise - thanks for the memories![]()
So could my push bike once the playing cards were fitted, maybe that's why they sound so similarThe Vincent Grey Flash was good for 115mph, they are rare and very pricey for a real one, it's like the Ducati chancers and you can get bitten if you don't know what your looking at!!![]()

The fact is the year these speeds where reached, i will leave a link on the Vincent Nero special to have a look at, it did 186mph in 1958!! The bike was at the National Motorcycle museum Birmingham, been there twice with my son, well worth a visit. The BSA Gold star may have managed it with a tweak
Nero, you say?
Doesn't look very nero to me. Could the factory boys even speak Italian?
A 1950 Manx Norton would do that in third…Well after some research on Google and DuckDuckgo i can't find a 500 single between 1949 to 1952 that would do 115MPH, if anyone can find out of a bike that could i'm all ears!!![]()
I forgot about that!!A 1950 Manx Norton would do that in third…
