No, I don't have a watch dealer. I have bought a few from Northern Goldsmiths locally and a few from other authorised dealers through their online stores.

I was aware of this lot, but they are 2nd hand dealers asking for a premium on watches which I won't get involved with. If I can't buy a watch at retail from an authorised dealer or anything non Rolex at a discount, I won't bother. I don't get involved in the hype and won't pay a premium for a watch, I'd rather go without.

Their videos on YouTube always had them coming over as flashy and a bit cocky tbh, but they seem to have been around for a while.

What's always worried me on private sales of luxury watches are the fakes/replica's/homages or what ever you call them. Some of the best ones have fooled even reputable and knowledgable people.

Anyone who paid good money expecting something was real maybe?

I've been looking into fakes and they vary from ten pounders to some that are about £4k. There are factories that buy key pieces of genuine watches and then include the rest of the replica.

Wanna buy my minter 1098s. I'll take £5k for it, which makes it the cheapest out there, others are about £8K. :)

Saul Murray: Four jailed over Luton fake Rolexes killing

Saul Murray was drugged and stabbed after "sexual activity" in a robbery gone wrong.

While the victim was no angel he didn`t deserve to be killed as a result of posting pictures of his two Rolex watches. They turned out to be fake so its all even more meaningless. It happened in Luton so just a few miles from where I work . Luton is a complete shithole of course and was recently voted the worst place to live in all of England.
