Vespa is gearing up for what it calls “the largest celebration” in its 80-year history next month.
I sold my Vespa GTS300, "White Lightning" a few weeks back.
Since I retired at the end of March, I hadn't used it, and wasn't likely to do so again. I had actually put it in the shed to free up space in the garage, with the intention of fully restoring it down the line. However, in a moment of clarity, I realised it would never happen.
So after 15 years of ownership from new, 43,000km, a few trips abroad, but mostly the 8 mile commute to work being it's use, on eBay it went. It now lives with a nice couple from Leeds.
