My lad is onboard a few miles off the coast of Southport - they were supposed to be repositioning a gas rig there on monday, but there is an issue with the rig. They say it should be sorted to be able to move it tomorrow.

The ship is costing £14k a day just sitting at anchor. And that is the bottom of the rate scale - for some jobs where there is less competition the daily rate is up to £85k.
