Not something I usually watch but had the last 5 minutes of it on in the background last night - my ears pricked up when they said that the house they'd built actually creates much more electricity than it uses.
They sell 'some' of the surplus back into the grid, but...while the surplus is enough to power for regular houses, they are only allowed to sell the equivilent of 2.5 houses worth - the rest is wasted.
As with self-charging hybrids - the gov doesn't like those as you don't need to buy the leccy.
It's all a scam.
