Climate Change (Global Warming) 🥶🌍🌞

I've been going to the Alps for the las 53 years. Yes the glaciers are retreating, it is part of a natural cycle. It has little or nothing to do with manmade climate change.

Credible source that manmade climate change is not relevant?

Credible source that a "natural cycle" is to blame?

Whoa there Al Gore...you want 'credible sources' about natural cycles in weather / climate?

FFS...I call my first witness - nature.

Are you suggesting there are no natural fluctuations? But would believe there are if what you deem to be credible source tells you there is?

Last time I was in the Alps was late May 2019 - there was snow when we crossed into Italy, and a week or so later we were going over a pass - stopped for coffee at the coffee shop, but snow came in just as we were about to go in and had to get down off the mountain. Lots of other passes were closed because of snow. In May.

I believe what I see over what I read 100% of the time.

The media is great telling us on one hand the alps have no snow.. Well I was there this year snow was no problem but they keep quiet about the record snow fall in the states... It's fucking hilarious

North America seems to be slightly increasing for snow cover since 1987 following a drop since accurate records started in 1972

I think most people accept that the climate changes and has always done so. The problem for many skeptics is the blind faith behind accepting "the science is settled" its all our fault , the projections are accurate etc.
Surely the educated person would be cynical by nature when all these claims are used by governments around the world as an excuse to squeeze cash from us and restrict our lifestyles.
I wouldn`t trust the UK Government to run a bath and from what I see most of the rest of the world suffers from similarly low standards of politicians.

John Kerry and co are always spot on with climate predictions 🤣 🤣 🤣
Look at his interview in the senate climate commity On YouTube where he claims to not own or fly in his own private jet 😂😂😂 the fucking bellend then admits the private jet is his wife's name but coincidentally it's just been sold 😂😂😂 he's a grade A Guinness only second to Gates 😆

Plus the fact they always choose the most scary figures; temperatures from busy runways; near active volcanoes; busy cities of glass skyscapers; ground temperature instead of air temperature, etc.

More climate change sensationalism...

Massive shark spotted off UK coast as experts say to expect more sightings

And the truth from the Natural History Museum:

Basking sharks can be found in almost all British coastal waters during the summer months. More frequent sightings are reported around southwest England, Wales and the west coast of Scotland. Their hotspots are the Isle of Skye and the Isle of Mull in the Scottish Hebrides, and the Isle of Man, Devon and Cornwall.

Must have been all the dinosaurs farting emitting Co2, I see the Earth survived 🤷‍♂️

Dr Johann Klages, a scientist from the Alfred Wegener Institute in Germany who led the research, said: "90 million years ago, a temperate rainforest existed in West Antarctica only 900 kilometres away from the South Pole."
Smelling Dinosaur farts must have been a horrible experience. Never thought of that before, thanks!

I believe there is a post somewhere round here (I'm not as effective with the search feature as some of you) of a reputable scientist (Warning conjecture: and there are quite a few of them) who begs to differ but their research is marginalised or the studies are buried by the MSM. This practice is nothing new it is as old as dinosaur farts.

People on here (including me) would not think about challenging articles in a Mathematics journal - because we do not have the expertise of course.

Yet the same people consider they have expertise in Climate and Meteorology and post some popularly disseminated "graphs" and actually think they have the knowledge base to challenge evidence based academic Climate study.

None of you (nor me) would understand a peer reviewed academic journal article on Climate.

The usual course is that we trust Engineers to build bridges and structures that are sound. We trust neurosurgery innovations once they are peer reviewed and authorised.

But with Climate everyone seems to think they have a doctorate in Atmospheric Physics. It's pathetic.

Thought I'd capture this for posterity.

You are a very trusting person going off what you've just written.

Yes we trust engineers to build bridges, but we don't always trust the ones saying that we need a new bridge. That is the difference.

There are many scientists who are qualified to do so, that say there is no climate crisis, and that man has little to no bearing on any changes.
