I always wonder - if the US population never ate , say 10% more, than the recommended daily calorie allowance how much less agriculture would be needed

I saw on sky news, a piece where they were talking about an IMO meeting (International Maritime Organisation) and it was mentioned that global Maritime traffic causes 3% of the worlds greenhouse gasses, which happens to be the same as Germany.

So it got me thinking, given how daily we are being beaten around the head about a greener U.K. how much does the U.K. emit, it turns out we emit, not even a full 1% of the worlds greenhouse gasses

....and how much maritime traffic could go back to sail power (if we were more self sufficient with our perishable foods) non perishable goods would just take a little longer to transport.

Symptoms just sound like somebody who overdid it the night before…

“Among the virus' symptoms include headaches, high fever, back and joint pain, stomach ache and vomiting.
In severe cases, WHO warns, jaundice, mood swings and sensory perception are encountered.”

This from TFL in January this year trying to justify the ulez expansion, within it it claims "Around 4,000 Londoners die prematurely every year due to toxic air"

Which is quite a claim, until you look back to tfl's claim way back in 2010 "Air pollution leads to premature deaths of more than 4,000 Londoners a year"

By tfl's own figures, the congestion charge hasn't saved a single life from the figures they gave 13 years ago. rascal porky tellers.

Stupid moronic wankers 🤷‍♂️

A popular Christmas market may not go ahead this year because the county council has “prioritised their net-zero ambitions”, the organiser of the festive event claims.

Oxford's longest running market could be forced to close this Christmas after council chiefs said they are adamant that a cycle lane must remain open.
