I most enjoy felling the trees and logging them up. Ideally I'd have children to do the rest but unfortunately it wasn't to be.
As I don't have any of these free labourers to hand I borrow a friend's tractor-mounted cone splitter. Very fast and efficient and mostly safe if you keep your hands on the right side of the cone....

Nice. My log splitter is foot operated (from Aldi or Lidl) and what that machine did in 2.5 minutes would probably take me 10-15 minutes and copious swearing.
