Very popular here in Spain and the same in Portugal every second new bike here seems to be one of those Voge hobbies too
I`m puzzled by the popularity of both. A similar second hand Italian/Japanese/German bike will depreciate more slowly, be better made and likely have better performance than a new CF Moto or Voge.
The father in law of the mechanic I use to service my bikes bought a Voge 900 adventure bike last year. Fully loaded with everything it was a little under £9k I believe . It is already deteriorating quickly cosmetically and look at how cheap a barely 2nd hand one is. 2.5 months and 670 miles old :-
Depreciation has to slow down at some point so maybe this one is a good buy now ?

Not much prettier than the Chinese stuff in my opinion and im not a big lover of anything Chinese.. the voge crowd make all the bmw engines bar the big cc bikes. It's getting harder to ignore them in the marketStelvio's are dipping below £10k now...this is ex-demo for just over

But it'll have more character, and is shaft drive so better for touring. And it's much better to say "I've got a Moto Guzzi" than have to explain what a CF Moto is.

As I said all bmw up to the 1000cc mark are voge engines and most ktms from 890 down are cf moto funny thing is most ktm lumps seem to be fairly reliable but their own electrics are utter shite .. same again . Do I want one no I fucking don't but your/my opinion on Chinese shit is getting harder to prove .. they are catching up mega quickly... I still won't want one though

In our industry, the Chinese are the best processors and turn out a good product on the whole.
They can do it because they can throw enough people at it to do the job properly. I've been in factories with 5000 wimmins in one hall filleting, trimming packing - it's like something from a science fiction film.
Top Gear made a show a few years ago showing the cars they were making in China - total shite based on models that Fiat and Alfa Romeo discontinued. Now look at them - showrooms popping up everywhere (for soulless boxes) but how long before they corner the market any everything is made there apart from a handfull of high end euro luxury and performance cars (and China will probably take those over too, just be assembled in the EU.

Chinese companies that have bought out European bike manufacturers aren't going to undermine the big brand's credibility by building Chinese knock-offs that are identical in spec and quality and then sell them cheaper than the prestige badges they've acquired.
It's like Toyota and Lexus. Toyota wanted to get into the luxury car market to rival BMW and Mercedes. They couldn't just build higher spec Toyotas and sell them for a higher price, even of they were better cars, as that would undermine both their existing Toyota models by making those appear low-budget or less good than they might be, while failing to inject the necessary air of luxury and exclusivity they were looking to create for their higher-end models. So they created a new brand: Lexus. Same company, same manufacturer but selling up-specced cars at a higher price with a different badge.
The Chinese owners of the likes of KTM are essentially doing the same thing with Voges and CF Motos.

Same model as VW, upmarket german models are audi/Porsche, cheap Czech models are skoda, Spanish playthings are Seat, etc it's all designed to appeal to different parts of the market and try to completely capture them. VW and Toyota always compete for biggest manufacturer - willy waving really
