If only there were some way of patching in radio transmissions into a telephone system...
TIL that the Apollo Moon Landing Hoax began in 1929 when AT&T pretended to have a High Seas Radio Telephone System. If only there were some way of patching in radio transmissions into a telephone system...
Also on the wishlist: transmitting pictures through the air so that they can be received on equipment that displays those pictures.
Ah! One day maybe.
Well, like Apollo, then had the technology in the 1960's, but perhaps they forgot.....The moon was in the beautiful blue sky all day today but couldn't photograph it just barely visible so must be some sort of projectionView attachment 161931
Not in Ireland it didn'tThe first car phone appeared in 1946.
Presumably your car had to have a cable connecting it to the telephone system.
You are in the wrong thread. If only there were some way of patching in radio transmissions into a telephone system...

An utterly stupid fucker who projects their own thoughts into every situation to suit the narrative.. id like to think that diversonaut hates Trump but for all we know she could be looking on with awe and admirationOf course. The subtlety is saying, why did they pretend that man was a woman![]()

In a 2016 video story published by the International Business Times UK on YouTube, Don Pettit says the following:
"I'd go to the moon in a nanosecond. The problem is we don't have the technology to do that anymore. We used to but we destroyed that technology and it's a painful process to build it back again. But going to Mars should be one of the next series of steps that humans do. The first step should be going back to the moon for a number of technical reasons and exploration reasons. And then after that, Mars, maybe high orbit in Venus atmosphere, maybe going to Europa. There's all kinds of targets to go to, places of interest in our solar system. The only limit to human future is our own imaginations."
I read an article recently equating the moon missions with the Concorde. We donโt currently have any commercial flights any where near the speed Concorde was doing. So it could be argued that we never did. And anyone who argues that we did will only reinforce the opinion that we never did. Seems to be how the human mind works. Right, I am not going to have a beer nowโฆ![]()
So, doesn't that amount to the same conclusion tho?We don't use Concorde any more because it's not financially viable...not because we can't do it now because we "destroyed that technology
And I've been on Concorde so I KNOW it exists![]()
So, doesn't that amount to the same conclusion tho?
Anyway you can't fool us with all that โฆ"Mach 2โ nonsense!
I never saw Concorde fly. I doubt it ever flew.
My mate flew in it, he didn't pay personally - I'll ask him if he has a funny handshakeYou don't have to.
2.5 million people have flown on it...and they weren't hand picked and didn't all have funny handshakes.
I've been inside the prototype Concorde at the Fleet Air Arm Museum. It's a horrible thing. Tiny and pokey, like being on a school minibus. Buggered if I'd have paid all that money just to get to Merka a bit quicker than usual.
How can you possibly be so gullible? You don't have to.
