Andy Burnham warned over new MOT test hike​





Well if they don't go up soon they will be no MOT station operating.

My mate gets just under £30 for a bike and by the time it's logged in, assessed and then aloud to record as a pass (it's timed by the DVLA) it isn't worth doing them as he could earn much more not doing them - loads have closed around here and our nearest Main Dealer can't afford to do them.

It's crazy that they haven't gone up for 16 years! It must have been quite lucrative back then 👀

Maybe it would be more worthwhile financially for testers if they were only required to check the bike for safety and road-worthiness, which is the true purpose of the MOT, and not waste their time making politically motivated checks on exhaust pipe markings and the size of number plates etc...?

The ulterior motives of the powers-that-be always inform official processes - safety concerns are the smoke screen that provide cover for real agendas...
 
£25 here, i don't use my regular twins at doubletake as thet pissed me off after being a loyal customer for over 22 years!! They can go fuck themselves so i will now be using a place called Garage No.7 Motorcycles. They are a Royal Enfield dealership, it still fucking haunts me ffs :ROFLMAO: i will only be using them for MOTs and it's next to an old biker pub i used to use so can pop in to see how many of the old lot are still alive and a lemonade.🍋🍹

The curse i'm still living, the Fucking Enfield, i rode down to them on my 996 and asked them to book it in for them to sort out. They basically said no, so when does a motorcycle repair shop pick and choose what to fix.:unsure::mad:
Fuck em!!, the other shop is just as good and like i said i'll only use them for MOTs, it's a bit further to go but no big deal.🤷‍♂️

You should move here there just isn’t an annual test

It would of been a easy fix imo i just got sick to the back teeth of it, taking the fucking injector off for the millionth time cleaning the fuel pump that is in the fuel tank etc........!
I had lost the will to live!! :ROFLMAO:
