Thought I recognised Penrith Motorcycles from the building. Went to look at an R Nine T there last year. I thought their prices were a little above dealer average but they were helpful and had a good mix of stock.

I have a fancy for a Suzuki GSXR1100 M. I had 2 back in the day (both black & red) and shouldn't have sold either. 
Have them in my eBay watch list and this looks OK. Imported and it's been painted (although well), but it is in the 'L' colour scheme, not the 'M'.
This looks OK too, but far too much money and I hate the polished section of the frame.

I had a Suzuki - it was my first bike when I was about 17. It was a crosser - I rode it once on a disused crosser track, just jeans and a t-shirt. I didn't make a full circuit before i went over the bars...it went up in the air and landed on my leg. I don't know how it didn't break.
Two weeks after it got nicked from my mates garage.
So yeah, fuck Suzuki

I have to say I couldn't stand garish colour schemes of 80's and 90's Jap sports bikes. All those "Kerrpow!" graphics and clashing colours. TBF Honda were the worst. Even the memory of those hideous white, orange and purple CBR monstrosities still hurts my eyes.
The blue and white Gixers aren't bad but the best was the pale blue Rizla edition. Still too many decals on it though.

I don't like any bike with race rep decals - worst in my eyes are Repsol Hondas
Or helmets. Spending an extra £200 for a helmet covered in ridiculous cartoon graphics won't turn you into a GP rider. But it will make you look ever so slightly a bit of a cock.
On the bikes, the less is more look was always been where Ducati won. Even at the height of Foggy mania the 916 remained a red Ducati with "916" written on it and was all the better for it.
I've always quite liked the BMW S1000rr (though it's not my sort of bike). Just looks a bit more grown up than the Jap offerings. Until the M came out with those silly wings, that is....
