Climate Change (Global Warming) 🥶🌍🌞

After an event is normally when the truth comes out. This summer they re-categorised what a severe sun day was and throughout Europe, particularly through Spain and France. Climate change caused these fires grrrrrrr and don't you dare say otherwise.

I wonder how those experts would explain this in France. Sunday's Guardian titled;

I wish they wouldn't use that expression unless some actual destruction has taken place. It's most irritating but the worst thing is, it implies that we can make arguments that will eventually "win the discussion" and get us out of the mess we are in as a nation.

We aren't talking (or voting) our way out of this.

Similar to the cover of an early 90`s album from Percy Plant. A very good album IMO with a lovely version of If I Were A Carpenter.
Thank goodness we have all paid so much in tax as we have so far successfully managed stave off the disaster of people keeping more of what they earn.

Fundamental to the British economy is the construction industry. And fundamental to that is our domestic raw materials manufacturing sector. Producing cement products uses a vast amount of energy. We've lost our steel industry because of energy costs and it looks likely that UK cement manufacturing will go the same way unless this madness is abandoned. It won't reduce our carbon footprint. It will increase it as we become completely reliant on imports where we were very recently net exporters.

Anyone on construction knows this. Cement and lime products have almost doubled in recent years. As have basic steel hardware essentials like lintels, wall-ties, lathing, beams and columns. Stainless steel lathing, once vital to masonry and plastering trades has all but disappeared in builders merchants, replace by substandard imported galvanised products that cost three times what UK-made stainless did a few years ago. People can't afford it.
Small domestic customers can't go ahead with projects because of costs. Big developers aren't building and trades are leaving the industry because, being at the bottom of the food chain it's their pay rates that are being squeezed.

The construction industry is the canary in the economic coal mine. Like agriculture, the government seem determined to kill it off.

Inadequate power supply, inadequate food supply, inadequate shelter. I's becoming almost impossible to ignore just how much the ruling class wants ordinary Brits to die off as a race... but Goat knows, our bovine British brethren will do their utmost to continue to do so.

On the plus side, there will soon be nowhere to lock up are citizens just for shouting things at anti-migrant protests. Nor the police or military personnel to arrest them. Then there will be nothing standing in the way of lamp post doctrine.

The last few governments have reduced our energy security, food security, armed services, police force, industrial/manufacturing base etc etc and are encouraging state dependence and population replacement. I wonder why none of them mention that in their manifestos ?
 
I watched a podcast yesterday where the commentator was telling me that Burnham might be forced to call a snap election.

The reasoning was, he'll need to raise taxation in the next budget but he can't because the Labour manifesto in 2024 stated that there will be no increase in taxes.

I dont know where these commentators live, I don't know if they are aware of what time it is. If they actually believe what they are saying, they are certainly not living in modern Britain. That's for sure.
