Everything KTM thread

Glen, I've been in contact with Mark there, he sent me through some figures, which seem too good to be true but actually are. The 1290 SAS 24 plate, tech pack, heat pack, crash bar pack, front radar, 4 year warranty PCP deal 3 years 6k PA 2.9% APR, for under 80 quid a month. I tried other KTM dealers nobody even close.
So I chucked him one of AC's bags of sand, over the phone, pulling the trigger to sign up on monday unless he's fucked up with thefigures!
Only thing I have to do is take all the goodies of the mutley but leave the panniers.
So if there will be some rather nice goodies coming up for sale, In fact if anyone would like a 2017 dvt 22k recent belts and desmo service nearly new BT23 GT's with panniers cheap, as in what I've been offered trade in £6750 PM me.
All the goodies can be negotiated with the bike.
Did you do the deal? @BobTheBounder

No bother mate. Hope you enjoy it.
Letting Mark know who put you on to it wouldnt hurt my chances of some extra discount there in the future. 😜
TBH, I've been cheeky already, said to Mark that Glen from Durham recently purchased a 1290 SAR had recommended you, saying teasdale would do me a grand deal.
So I will mention it again mate.
Therefore, I owe thee a brew or a beer of your choosing (y)

What comes as standard equipment on the S and R? @BobTheBounder @990Glen.
Are things like radar and heated grips extra?
S deffo needs the tech pack to bring the bike in line and sometimes surpasses the competition, GS1300, V4S Travel and Radar, Tiger 1200 GT Pro et al.
Heated grips are a power products extra, I got the full heat pack, grips rider and pillion seat including the comfort pro versions. I chose the engine bar pack to protect the engine and the bladder fuel tanks. I did relent in the end with some power products luggage, choosing the panniers, Mark gave me discount on all the power products, Approx 11% so Ima well chuffed. I was very cheeky and asked for tyres to be changed, wasn't succesful on that one, hey ho (y)
All in all Bob's gonna be happy geezer on his birthday :giggle:

I had a play on the bike configurators,
Bmw GS1300 base £13895 to bring in line with SAS spec nudging £21k
Ducati V4S travel and radar, only one or two bits to add as it very well equipped, £24K
Triumph Tiger GT Pro, need a good few extras just over £20k
The Beemer and the Trumpet prices were without luggage, the Ducati has the panniers standard on the Travel models.
My top line on the road for SAS £17011.72

Glen, did you go with the tech pack for the R? Any other power products?
Yeah, I put the tech pack on as part of the deal. Stuck some heated grips on myself and now I'm waiting for
my delivery the full hard luggage set. (Planning to use it instead of the car for summer, where I have to
visit the west coast of Scotland for 5-7 days each month for work)
Gonna go with an Arrow Sonara can when I get round to it, offsetting the luggage weight a little and adding
a touch bit of burble without being anti social.
I will use it offroad a bit once the trails dry off and the newness is gone a bit more, so replacing the plastic handguards
with ally framed barkbusters at some point in the next few months too.

It’ll be interesting to see the price of the GSA1300 when it’s launched.
The only thing missing from The Panzer was the excitement factor, incredible bike otherwise.
Now an adventure bike with a 160BHP V-Twin engine sounds pretty exciting.

I think the GSA's are about 3k dearer at base!
Our kid will let me know when his current contract on his 1250 GSA is finished.
