I`ve posted this before so apologies but those who would have us rush away from reliable fossil fuel use cannot lose the argument. If things improve ( whatever that means) they will claim its because we all listened and went green as instructed, if things get worse its because we didn`t listen and didn`t go green enough.

Can I have the panel's decision on whether the expression "fossil fuel" is misleading? I've been reading plausible theories that it is a deliberate misnomer and that the existence of oil/coal/gas has nothing whatsoever to do with prehistoric vegetation, etc.
