Everything KTM thread

Had a nice little rag about down to Helmsley and back yesterday afternoon on the SDR. Was the first spirited ride since swapping out
the oem bridgestone S22 rubber (which I could never fault in any situation), to pirelli rosso IVs
Now I know that tyres can be as much of a psychological thing as anything these days as modern rubber is streets ahead of 10 yrs ago,
but the bike just seemed to flow so much better. I've used nowt but pirelli on road or track in the last 20 yrs, so I guess my brain is just
happier with their subtle profile shape etc, but it really was a coming home moment with the KTM. Wish I'd dumped the S22s from day 1.

I am missing something huge here - as well as not getting electric cars. Going back as long as I can remember I have been able to do clutch-less gear changes up and never once worried about changing down with the clutch - even when doing over a thousand miles in a day. But now I am told that I just cannot survive without a gear changing for that little tap with my foot is such a massive pain in the arse. Don't get it. Oh! I have to use that rare skill of opening and closing the throttle! What a pain!!!!

Do they have Lifetime cover too
Too? as well as what?
The o-rings should be considered as a serviceable item, the connectors will last a million billion trillions of years or so..... 👀

Now, if you come up with a replacement for the later shitty plastic ones
you would be elevated to hero status

Yeh, I’ve looked into that, would need a new base plate I guess to retro fit the older type connectors 🤔
I know there’s one available for the 999 but it’s expensive 🤷‍♂️

There is a base plate for the s4rs too in the USA but like you say expensive
